Inspired from my love of collecting masks from around the world, this series brings the beauty and craftsmanship of hand carved wood masks, to the world of patches. Just as each piece of wood is intentionally removed as the mask is carved, each thread is carefully thought out, and placed with a purpose. This series will bring scenes of nature, animals and the world around us, “carved” into a beautiful piece of art.
